Mitchell's Prayer House
Since Valentine's Day of 2008, there has been an opportunity to join together with other believers to pray and worship on Thursday evenings in Mitchell. Previous host churches include the Harvest Community Church of the Nazarene and Mitchell's Life Church. The current host facility for the prayer house is the Family Christian Center, located at 700 E 15th Ave. From 7-11 PM on Thursdays, an atmosphere of worship is provided for those desiring to pray with others or find a place to spend some time alone with God. We hope you will feel welcome as you join us for times of worship, prayer and maybe a chance to share with each other.
Anyone with a hunger or curiosity to seek God through prayer and worship is welcome. We believe that prayer is powerful and desire to participate with what God is doing in our city, nation and around the world. You will have the freedom to join with those leading in praise or prayer or just find a restful place to study, pray or quiet down by yourself. Designated areas are set aside for those who would like to get together and talk without distracting others who may prefer to be "alone" or are focused on prayer or study in the sanctuary.
People from several different "denominations" have participated and even led the times of prayer and worship. Those interested in leading times of prayer or participating with instruments or singing should contact, Bill Parks or Justin Heckel.
We hope you will visit Mitchell's
Prayer House soon!
Thursdays from 7-11 PM
